Description
Dynafit Beast 16: The ski binding all backcountry freeride skiers have been waiting for. The Beast has a DIN range of 6-16 which caters for strong to aggressive freerider skiers and weighs in at 1850g per pair which makes ascending a dream.
Dynafits frameless binding system saves weight and provides the optimum pivot point for climbing. The binding has a releasing heel and toe, the new rotating toe piece has been designed so pre-release from sudden impacts is reduced significantly. Dynafit has kept the binding low to the ski giving the skier a better feel for their ski and improved stability.
Features:
- Rotating toe piece for combating premature release caused by sudden impacts
- Perfectly Complemented release mechanisms for toe and heel units.
- New, revolutionary design and setup for rear pivot points enable extra vertical movement thus increasing the release path/release value/tech gap (to 10mm from 4mm)
- This design allows increased energy absorption through greater elasticity when performing dynamic actions.
- Binding entry achieved by pressing the heel down with controlled force. Entry force is therefore low whatever the DIN setting.
- Ultra-low binding height ensuring flat-to-ski contact for boot. (Dynafit Vulcan rear 23mm, front 17mm)
- Low forward lean/ramp angle provides a smooth stable ride.
- Specially designed boot heel for maximum force absorption and power transfer.
- Outstanding torsional rigidity from 4 contact points.
- Maximum stride from Dynafits optimum pivot point.
- Frameless design means no lifting weight on ascents.
- Extra wide base plate for power transfer.
- The worlds lightest 16 DIN touring freeride binding.
