While SWEPCO Lubricants are compatible with all mineral oils and most PAO lubricants, you will not obtain the full benefits of SWEPCO’s High Performance additive chemistries if they are contaminated with old lubricants or loaded with deposits left behind by old lubricants. Flushing is a good way to remove all old lubricants and remove the loose contaminants that might affect the service life or performance of SWEPCO Lubricants. Because most synthetics are NOT compatible with SWEPCO Lubricants, flushing is highly recommended whenever switching from a synthetic product to a SWEPCO Lubricant.
