These are the first run of HexLocks which were produced with an easily machineable variant of mild steel. These are MIG WELD ONLY, and offered at a significant discount with limited inventory. I was unhappy with the material properties however they are still a good upgrade for those on a budget.
- Increase surface area for bolts by over 300% and distributes loads more effectively
- Hex capture doesn’t allow bolt to spin (and loosen) under extreme radial loads
- Increased area for bolt holding reduces hole distortion
- Reduces failures both on impacts and by bolts loosening over time
